Thank you for visiting. Please take a look around. I'm currently working on my first manuscript and have a slew of other ideas sitting in my "Books" folder on my laptop.
The stories I create are closely related to my personal experiences. Some years back my aunt was murdered. Her murderers were caught, tried and sentenced but since that time I've had a great interest in true crime. As a family, we felt there were so many boundaries, human and administrative, which created a delay in my aunt's case. Had it not been for the persistence of family, I'm not sure the outcome would've been the same.
What if we'd had someone on the law enforcement side who was just as invested in solving the case and finding the truth as we were? Someone who wasn't bogged down by too many cases, red tape or a sense of "been there, done that." Out of these thoughts came the character Sarah Markes, a cold case detective in The Truth Series. Sarah is my creation and every criminal case deserves someone like her on it.
What else about me? I'm an avid reader who reads two to three books at a time. I have a book in my tote, one in my car and another that travels throughout my house. Also, I'm a HUGE adrenaline junkie. I practically grew up on roller coasters and most recently knocked skydiving off my bucket list. I recommend you try it at least once. There is nothing more exciting than flying at 10,000 feet. Up next on my list is swimming with sharks. Enough about me. Tour the website and let me know your thoughts.
